I'm thrilled to have Windows Live Writer Beta 3. I've been waiting a long time for the ability to post images to Blogger from an offline editor. Blogger finally added an API just before Beta 2 was released, but that feature didn't make it in in time. I don't post images often, but when I would like to, I'm often discouraged by the painful process Blogger has had up until now.
I could probably break down and get my own hosting, but up until this point I haven't had a reason to. I've been slowly brainstorming what kind of niche I could fit that would attract an audience, but I don't want to take out hosting until I get all of that worked out.
Now that I can post images more easily, I may feel like posting more often.
