As I said earlier, I decided to switch my blogging to TypePad. So far, I have not been disappointed. I tried TypePad trial a couple of years ago, but saw the price as a little high so I stepped away. I've been wanting a little more power and convenience than my free blogs offer, so I guess that means paying.
I've been blogging on Windows Live Spaces recently. I can't figure out how, with the release of several Windows Live services that a simple client for Windows Mobile has never been released. TypePad has such a client, in fact, I'm writing this post on it. I don't expect to be able to turn out a lot of professional level content on a mobile device, but at least it will give me more abilities to post, especially when I'm on the go.
I accidently clicked the icon to add a picture, and I can't figure out how to not add a picture now, so I figured I'd post something good. This is a picture I had on my Pocket PC that I found online of my last ship, the U.S.S. Oldendorf (DD-972) as we pulled into San Fransisco in October of 1997. We were manning the rails in dress blues. I can assure you that I'm in that picture. For those who know where to look, I was standing on the starboard side of the Sea Sparrow missile deck.
