Billy Graham Will Be 90

This is amazing, 90. My grandmother topped 90 and is still going, as is my wife’s grandmother. I consider it very impressive.

When I was a teenager, I had no idea who Billy Graham was. All I knew is that I wanted to watch MacGuyver, and it seemed for a period of time that at least every other week, MacGuyver was preempted by something called “Billy Graham Crusade.” I had no idea who Billy Graham was or what his crusade involved, but I hated him for preempting MacGuyver so often.

Heh. MacGuyver has long since been canceled, and age and maturity cause me to think of the show with less respect than I once did. Billy Graham is still going, and of course with more perspective on his life and work and ministry I have long since forgiven him for preempting MacGuyver so much when I was 12 to 14 or 15.
