Yeah, I know, Fight Club came out in 1999. I was 25 at the time. Like most movies, the promos didn't appeal to me. They did nothing to make me interested in seeing the movie, and the details I heard didn't pull me in either. "The first rule...don't talk about Fight Club!" became cliche within months of the movie's release.
But then a blogger I've been following, Aurini, called it "The defining movie of our generation". I figured it was time to watch the movie. Unlike the promos and listening to people talk about the movie over the years, he made me interested in seeing it.
Maybe I'll put a review together later. I'm still processing it. It does make some interesting philosophical points.
